Meet the Team

Mike Waniel, Manager

Mike founded WEB Companies, LLC in May 2017 following a 30-year career leading the construction and management of small to mid-sized commercial projects across the Washington, D.C. metro area, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and Southeastern Virginia. His portfolio includes more than 100 convenience store and fueling station builds, over 20 nationally branded pharmacy locations, as well as multiple car washes and strip retail centers for local developers.​

With deep industry knowledge and a hands-on leadership style, Mike remains actively involved in the day-to-day oversight of all projects. He is committed to delivering high-quality results and consistently exceeding client expectations.

Jody Easter, Construction Manager

Jody joined WEB Companies, LLC as a partner in 2020, bringing just over 40 years of experience in fast-track commercial construction. As a former project manager and account representative for several regional contractors, he led programs for clients such as ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP Amoco, and Wawa.​

Over the past 15 years, Jody has directly managed the construction of more than 25 convenience store projects, along with multiple car washes and a range of small to mid-sized commercial builds. His project experience spans retail, medical office, pharmacy, and restaurant spaces, with end users including CVS, Walgreens, Sentara, Advance Auto, and McDonald’s.

Steve Doin, Project Manager

Steve joined WEB Companies, LLC in March of 2024, bringing over 15 years of electrical construction experience in both Residential and Commercial and a strong background as an Electrician. His extensive field expertise, along with his role as Superintendent for the $75 million dollar Embrey Mill Town Center ground‑up project, gives him a deep understanding of complex building systems and multi‑trade coordination. He also brings strong project management and extensive permitting knowledge, ensuring projects move efficiently through regulatory approvals and stay on schedule.  

Steve has served as superintendent on four Wawa convenience store and fueling station projects, developing a deep understanding of the Wawa brand, its standards, and its operational expectations. With his strong knowledge of building and electrical systems and a proven work ethic, he remains a valuable asset to the team and to every job he oversees.

Lauren Waniel, Project Coordinator

Lauren joined WEB Companies, LLC, as a Project Coordinator, bringing a background in leadership, business, and project management. She holds a Master of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, concentrating in Marketing and Management.

At WEB Companies, Lauren supports the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects, coordinating documentation, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor relations. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative approach make her a valuable member of the WEB Companies team.
